Mindfulness and depression
If you suspect a learner is depressed, alway suggest they visit their doctor and if they are given medication, encourage them to take it. However, developing mindful habits can help with recovery and, if it becomes a permanent practice, it can delay or minimise any subsequent bouts of depression.
